Footy Friendlies are flexible, community‑driven soccer games built for players who want the camaraderie of a league with the flexibility of a pickup.

Each week, teams are mixed and matched based on who shows up. No standings, no pressure — just real games, real jerseys (washed and ready each week), and a welcoming host referee to keep things running smoothly.

  • Footy Friendlies are one fixed price for multiple weeks of friendlies. If Friendlies are available, you’ll be notified via email for registration options.

  • No — sign up once and RSVP week‑to‑week whenever you’re available.

  • Unlike pickup, we provide jerseys, host referees, and a consistent community vibe. Games are organized in advance as a collective, so you know what you’re getting each week.

  • There’s no season-long commitment, no standings, and no set team rosters — it’s focused on flexibility without losing community.

  • Formats are decided on the field and the number of players that show up weekly. For instance, if a Friendly is taking place on an 8v8 field, games may be 6v6, 7v7, 8v8, and 9v9 - since all formats can comfortably play on a field sized for 8v8 play. Once the weekly “roll call’ comes in, formats will be finalized in partnership with your Friendly “Host”.

  • Teams are formed on-site each week based on who confirms attendance in the official Footy Friendly WhatsApp Chat. We rotate rosters weekly to keep things fresh and balanced.

  • Nope! We provide real jerseys each week and handle all washing/collection. Just bring your shoes and shin guards.

  • For now our friendlies welcome “all skills” and games will usually shake out from a P2 to P4 level.

  • Footy Friendlies are considered “Open” play. We do not have minimum requirements, but they are not restricted by gender. Anyone can attend.
